In the second of our four part serious on Repetitive Driving Injuries we look at another seating position that can cause discomfort and how small tweaks in your sitting position can help avoid arm and shoulder pain.
You are most likely to suffer with arm pain and shoulder pain from resting on the window ledge.
- Sit in a fairly upright position, with knees lower than hips. You should be able to reach the accelerator and brake without stretching your legs
- Roll up the window and keep both arms on the steering wheel to avoid arm and shoulder pain
